Are you a qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in statutory reporting and financial controls? This is your chance to lead a financial reporting team within a purpose-driven organisation that's making a real difference.
The Role:
As Financial Reporting Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, governance, and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the year-end accounting process to produce statutory and consolidated financial statements.
Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
Managing monthly balance sheet reviews, analytical reporting, and developing robust controls and processes.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns, corporation tax declarations, and other statutory submissions.
Providing technical expertise on accounting, VAT, and tax matters while supporting process improvements.
Producing short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to inform investment decisions.
Contributing to strategic finance projects and deputising for the Financial Controller when required.
What We're Looking For:
Professional Qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA essential.
Experience: Proven track record in statutory reporting, financial analysis, and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK GAAP, VAT regulations, and financial systems (experience with Charity SORP is desirable).
Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities with advanced Excel skills.
Attributes: A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
