An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a registered Pharmacy Technician to join Fortuneswell Pharmacy as the Dispensary Manager.
Fortuneswell Pharmacy is a wholly owned subsidiary Outpatient Pharmacy located next to the Fortuneswell Chemotherapy Unit at Dorset County Hospital. For the last 7 years, our service has supplied medicines to patients and pharmaceutical advice to haematology and oncology outpatients and healthcare professionals. We have recently undergone a major refurbishment programme, and are looking to extend the high level of service offered to the rest of Dorset County Hospital’s outpatients. We also provide a home delivery service to patients all over Dorset.
Salary negotiable dependent upon experience, and will include an annual performance reflected bonus.

Responsibilities
* Overseeing the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the outpatient dispensing service at Fortuneswell Pharmacy.
* Managing a high-quality dispensary to ensure a safe and efficient service.
* Managing the workflow, and ensuring that the necessary policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
* Actively involved in, and taking a lead on, quality improvement and service development.
* Undertake final accuracy checking of dispensed medication as an ACPT.
