We are seeking a motivated and proactive Estates and Investment Assistant to join our property team and support the effective management of the Council’s diverse property portfolio. * Carrying out and accurately documenting inspections of unoccupied or surplus properties.
* Supporting the team to maintain and update estate case records.
* Uploading, monitoring, and reviewing key property information on Concerto, the Council’s property database (e.g., lease details, ownership information).
* Providing property data and reports to Estates colleagues and wider Council departments.
* Assisting with the correct identification, calculation, and charging of service charges, rent, business rates, and other property-related payments.
* Helping to resolve queries relating to the Council’s property portfolio, including more complex issues under the guidance of senior team members.
* Contributing to the Council’s strategic asset management plan and supporting area-based property rationalisation projects, financial delivery plans, and income generation initiatives.
