IT Assistant
We have an exceptional opportunity to join our IT Team at The Lanesborough.

Candidate Profile
As IT Assistant, you are responsible for assisting the Head of IT in the implementation and upkeep of in-house IT systems, providing technical support to our guests and team at all times.
Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Support the Head of IT, in ensuring smooth operation of the local area network at each location ensuring any disruption cause the minimum amount of disruption
2. To ensure that calls for support are logged and dealt with promptly and appropriately
3. To ensure all backups are completed successfully
4. Prioritizing and managing open support cases at one time
5. Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
6. Supporting the roll-out of new applications and project roll outs
7. Maintaining PCs, printers, telephones and credit card terminals, coordinating quarterly preventative maintenance
8. Setting up new users’ accounts, profiles, permissions and dealing with password issues
9. Support the Head of IT, in working closely with users to improve efficiency in the use of Systems across group
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
10. Previous experience in a similar within a 4* or 5* establishment is essential
11. Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
12. Immaculate grooming standards
13. Ability to work on own initiative is essential
14. Be available, flexible and willing to work a 24h roaster when required
15. Knowledge of Opera system would be preferred
