Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Sales Engineer to support and grow our Tier 2 CSP business across EMEA. This role combines deep technical understanding of data center and GPU‑based solutions with strong customer engagement and commercial execution.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with CSP Account Executives to drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across Tier 2 CSP accounts
2. Translate customer technical requirements into high‑level solution concepts and Lenovo‑based architectures
3. Prepare configurations and ensure technical readiness for pricing, quoting, and commercial proposals
4. Support customer engagements including technical discussions, evaluations, and proof‑of‑concept activities
5. Act as a technical interface between customers and internal Lenovo teams to resolve complex requirements or escalations
6. Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, operations, supply chain, and global product teams
7. Evangelize Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions portfolio and influence customer technology strategies
8. Build and maintain strong technical relationships with CSP customers across multiple levels of seniority

Requirements:

9. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, computer science, or a related field
10. Minimum 5 years of experience in data center, server, or infrastructure solutions in a pre‑sales or technical sales role
11. Strong hands‑on experience with compute architectures, including GPU clusters; conceptual knowledge of storage and networking
12. Experience translating complex technical needs into commercially viable solutions
13. Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written); additional European languages are an advantage
14. Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment
15. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and internal stakeholders
16. Willingness to travel within EMEA and occasionally to the US
