Job Description
We are seeking hardworking, flexible, and empathetic Relief Support Workers to join our team at the Extra Care Service at Heysham Gardens, Carlisle. The purpose-built scheme provides independent living opportunities for older adults in a friendly, inclusive, and safe environment.
Our goal is to enable service users to lead active and positive lives by delivering personalized extra care services. We value individuals passionate about providing dedicated care and support to older people. As a Relief Support Worker, you will engage with service users and build trusting, therapeutic relationships. Strong communication skills and respectful personal care are essential to meet the needs of our service users.
Candidate Requirements
* Dedicated, flexible, and responsive to providing personalized support in line with recovery principles.
* Highly motivated with a positive outlook.
* Ability to engage and motivate individuals in activities.
* Understanding of the challenges faced by our clients and awareness of supported living care delivery.
* Minimum of twelve months support-related experience.
You must be able to work flexible shifts on a relief basis and enjoy working as part of a team.
