Westside Distribution is a leading distributor of high-end musical instruments & accessories, including C.F. Martin & Co, Dunlop, Schecter, Sigma, Hohner, Pedaltrain, Voodoo Lab, MONO, Levy’s, G7th, AER, Elixir and Tonepros.
We are seeking a sales executive at our office in Glasgow, for a role combining telesales /administration with occasional dealer visits and event participation. We are looking for a proactive, musical instrument-loving team player with sales experience who enjoys strengthening relationships with our dealer network and brands.
ABOUT THE POSITION
1. Full time role permanent role
2. Regular office hours, Monday – Friday
3. Office based in Glasgow with field duties on occasion
4. Over 25 with clean driving licence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is focused on driving sales and supporting our dealer network.
* Office Sales & Admin (Primary Focus): You will be the engine of the sales desk—managing inbound enquiries, proactive telesales to existing dealers, and ensuring all sales administration is handled with precision.
* Field Sales & Industry Events: On occasion you’ll head out on the road to visit our retail partners for in-store product merchandising, staff training, and also attend dealer events and consumer shows.

* Mobile: You hold a full driving license and enjoy being out of the office and meeting people.
* Passionate: A background or strong interest in musical instruments is a requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Experience in sales in a B2C and/or B2B environment.
· Experience of the Musical Instrument industry
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
· Analytically minded with confidence in problem solving
· Confident in data manipulation and interpretation
· Ability to own and develop relationships internally and externally
· A clear communicator when it comes to complex concepts
· A passion for music and ability to play guitar and/or other musical instruments.
We require a candidate who has experience of playing guitar or other musical instruments, as this will help you better understand our products and connect with our audience.
