Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager (Merchandiser) to manage key accounts and oversee the product journey from concept and design through to production and delivery. This role requires strong client and factory liaison, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage critical paths and deadlines within an import/export environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop assigned customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact
* Raise and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently
* Liaise closely with overseas factories and suppliers
* Coordinate design and development processes, including colour approvals and sampling
* Manage and maintain the critical path to ensure on-time delivery
* Ensure all production deadlines are met and proactively resolve issues
* Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office packages
Essential / Must-Have Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an Account Manager, Merchandiser, or similar role
* Proven experience working within an import/export environment
* Strong experience in raising and managing orders
* Demonstrated ability in liaising with factories, particularly overseas
* Experience managing critical paths and production schedules
* Hands-on experience with colour approvals and sampling processes
* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)

* Experience in design-related tasks
* Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes
