Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Production Project Manager to lead the development of innovative products from concept through to production. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead New Product Development (NPD) initiatives by coordinating R&D teams across research, electrical, software, mechanical testing, and production.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with ISO standards and company processes.
Collaborate with technical leads to resolve project challenges and ensure requirements are met.
Develop and manage detailed project plans using tools such as JIRA and SharePoint, setting sprints and tracking progress.
Conduct and lead project meetings with both project teams and senior leadership, providing regular performance updates.
Actively contribute to project tasks where necessary, providing hands-on guidance to overcome challenges and drive progress.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Plan and allocate resources, including team members and hardware requirements, as needed.
Transition R&D projects smoothly into production while coordinating with production teams to meet timelines and budget requirements.
Maintain and update manufacturing software and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
Set and monitor quality standards, playing a central role in quality control decisions.
Conduct regular one-to-one development meetings with team members to foster growth and engagement.
