Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting our accounting functions. The successful applicant will have experience with various accounting software and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities
* Manage and record financial transactions using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly entered
* Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
* Prepare financial reports as required for management review
* Support year-end closing activities and audit preparations
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, ideally within a small to medium organisation
* Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
* Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures and general ledger management
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
* Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members
