Job Description
FT Recruitment is supporting a market-leading business who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will manage a team of 5 and play a key part in the day-to-day management and operation of the finance team.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the finance team covering transitional finance, treasury, tax, and stock and will be the key point of contact during audits.
Key duties:
1. Supports Strategic Goals - Aligns role with broader business objectives by contributing to the delivery of both short- and long-term strategies.
2. Leads Financial Oversight & Compliance - Oversees accounting operations, ensures compliance with tax and audit requirements, and maintains strong internal controls.
3. Drives Financial Accuracy & Control - Manages reconciliations, fixed assets, debtors and creditors, and supports treasury, KPI reporting, and insurance processes.
4. Builds a High-Performing Team - Provides leadership, coaching, and accountability to team members, embedding a performance-focused, values-driven culture.
5. Enhances Customer Experience - Delivers high standards of service by providing timely, effective support to both internal and external stakeholders.
