About The Role

As a SEA Naval Combat Systems Engineer, you will support our Complex systems division as a Naval Systems Integration Process Service (NSIPS) Subject Matter Expert reporting to the NSIPS Team Leader.
You will be based at either our Barnstaple, Bristol or Beckington sites and allows for flexible working, including home working were appropriate.
This role allows for flexible working patterns including home working (with attendance at SEA's offices being minimal - typically only required for quarterly progress meetings in Bristol and other occasional, irregular meetings at SEA's premises).
The position also has an occasional requirement to visit RN vessels in HM Naval Bases Portsmouth and Devonport - so the position could well suit candidates with a home location within easy travel of those areas.
The salary for this role is up to £55k, depending on experience.

Expert, comprehensive working knowledge of surface ship combat systems
Systems Engineering Awareness
Data management skills
Full driving license desirable
Working knowledge of surface ship and/or submarine combat systems
Able to understand and manage large volumes of interface data
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
Ability to obtain SC clearance
