Supply Teacher – The Role:
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, your duties will include:
Covering a range of pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teaching across a variety of subject areas (based on school needs)
Managing classroom behaviour using school policies
Providing mentoring and in-class support to students
Creating a calm, focused, and engaging learning environment
Flexibly adapting to different schools and year groups
Supply Teacher – Ideal Candidate:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is highly desirable
PGCE, SCITT, or degree-level education required
Previous experience teaching in a UK secondary school (KS3/KS4)
Strong classroom management and confident teaching style
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Open to teaching across different subjects and schools
