Lanarkshire Carers is recruiting a Business Administration Assistant to help with administrative support relating to new work we have taken on to provide more carer breaks. We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person to join our professional and committed staff team. Lanarkshire Carers is a progressive organisation where you will be supported, valued and well rewarded. The salary is Grade 2 SCP 5-7, £25,219 - £26,583. The position is full time, 35 hours per week, worked flexibly however part time hours could also be considered for the right candidate. There may be occasional evening/weekend work required although the post is mainly our normal opening hours. Reporting to the Finance Co-ordinator, the Business Administration Assistant will provide administrative and financial processing support, working with all staff and team functions. You will have a good standard of education and be committed to undertake staff learning and development. You will have access to continuous professional development opportunities and potential progression routes within the organisation. Attention to detail and the ability to deal with a varied workload are essential. You will have good interpersonal skills, be willing to work as part of a team and have experience using Microsoft Office Suite. A generous annual leave and public holiday allocation provides 37 days leave, rising to 42 days with increased length of service.
