Are you a passionate and dedicated PE teacher ready to make a lasting impact on students? We are looking for an inspiring Teacher of PE to join our successful and growing department as well as lead our new Outdoor Education provision.
Rainhill High School is an 11-18 school with a vibrant, diverse community committed to excellence. Our PE department consistently ranks in the top 1% of schools nationally for L2 OCR and top 10% for GCSE outcomes.
As the Leader of Outdoor Education, you will develop and lead our outdoor activities programme, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. You will also teach high-quality lessons. Your role will involve promoting the development of character, inclusivity, supporting student well-being, and provide team-building opportunities through extracurricular activities.
You will be a member of an exceptional team with high standards and strong leadership and notable success in local, regional, and national sporting fields. The faculty integrate physical, mental, and social well-being into the academic journey, empowering students to excel as athletes and individuals.
This is an exciting, new opportunity for the right candidate to work with a high performing team as well as establishing and leading an exceptional outdoor educational experience across the school.
Rainhill High School is part of Stephenson MAT and was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in February 2023.
