Bringing it to the role.
The Learning Experience
& Design Leader will be a key contributor to the KFC UKI Restaurant Support
Centre (RSC). They will design, implement, and lead the core learning strategy
for all of KFC UKI restaurant and field operation employees, through the
Learning Experience and Design (LED) team, to deliver blended learning
solutions, including but not limited to, Job aids, Virtual, Workshops,
eLearning, Microlearning, and In-restaurant training. The Learning Experience
& Design Leader will work collaboratively with cross-functional
stakeholders, SME’s, the KFC global LED team, and our restaurant operation teams
to enable the LED team to produce effective, timely, engaging, and learner
centric content.
What
you’ll do
•
Design and develop the
LED strategy for the LED team, focusing on our restaurant operation employee
experiences.
•
Lead the LED team in updating
and sustaining the KFC UKI core curriculums.
•
Lead and coach a team of
2 people to focus on their continual growth and development in role and beyond
•
Collaborate with various
teams to ensure the effectiveness of any ad hoc restaurant training.
•
Create, refine, and
assess various learning materials, including eLearning modules, videos, and
webinars, using tools like Edapp and Adeptly. Maintain a professional tone
suitable for adult learners.
•
Author, edit, and format
documentation essential for training purposes, encompassing guides for both
leaders and learners, workbooks, storyboards, and other pertinent materials.
•
Partner with the global
support team in managing the Learning Management System (LMS), including the posting,
and updating of course materials, and addressing user issues with proficiency.
•
Engage in constructive
dialogue with internal and external stakeholders to align training content with
organizational requirements and learner needs.
•
Collaborate with Subject
Matter Experts to conduct thorough curriculum reviews, ensuring the continual
relevance and currency of our training materials.
•
Work closely with the
global training team to develop and maintain globally applicable training
content.
•
Evaluate the
effectiveness of training initiatives through the utilization of advanced data
analytics tools.

experience in content design and seamless implementation.
•
Brings valuable
experience in applying learning and instructional design methodologies.
•
Proficient in using
eLearning authoring tools, video creation software, and LMS Platforms, with a
preference for Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, Camtasia, Edapp.
•
Displays proficiency
in Adobe Creative Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, and
Illustrator.
•
Possesses a robust
knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Publisher.
•
Familiar with
working in a fast paced retail (or similar) guest centred operations role with
the ability to react to the ever evolving world of L&D.
