Solution Architect - ERP Location: London, United Kingdom About the Organisation A high-impact, government-aligned innovation and transformation body is seeking a Solution Architect to support a large-scale digital modernisation initiative. The organisation focuses on building secure, future-ready systems, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and delivering strategic technology programmes across Europe and North America. This role sits within a specialised transformation division working on multi-year enterprise programmes with global stakeholders. Role Overview The Solution Architect will lead the end-to-end design of ERP solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and its integration into wider enterprise ecosystems. You will act as the strategic link between business and technology teams, driving solution design, delivery, and adoption. Key Responsibilities Design and develop ERP solution architecture, including integrations with external systems. Oversee project delivery: planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance. Work using Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe. Lead workshops, requirements gathering, and business-IT alignment sessions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Produce structured documentation, reporting, and training materials. Drive change management and support end-user adoption. Ensure solutions are delivered on time and meet business objectives. Stay updated on ERP trends, Microsoft Dynamics advancements, and best practices. Undertake additional related duties as required. Essential Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 3 years post-related experience; OR minimum 10 years of progressive, related experience in absence of a degree. 7 years of experience leading large-scale ERP implementations. Proven expertise in designing ERP solutions aligned with regulatory, financial, and operational requirements. Strong experience with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or similar iterative delivery methods. Knowledge of ERP governance, compliance, and data privacy standards. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners. Exceptional communication skills with experience managing stakeholders and facilitating workshops. Strong background in change management, user adoption strategies, and solution design. Proficient in MS Office, MS Teams, and SharePoint. Desirable Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar. Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master. Experience working in secure, government or defence-oriented environments.
