Job Title: Sales Manager - Software (SCM / WMS / ERP)
Location: North West - 4 days working from home, 1 day in the office
Salary: £60k+ and car allowance (or opt into car scheme), uncapped bonus potential
Role Summary
As leader of the sales team, you will be responsible for helping to drive growth across both new business and account management. As Sales Manager you will help create and be responsible for executing a successful sales strategy for our class leading software products. Meeting or exceeding sales targets for yourself and your team will be your number one priority.

* Help develop a strategy and execution plan for both the new business and account management teams
* Work with the Managing Director to agree personal sales targets and goals. Track and report back to the Managing Director performance against goals and targets
* Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed for team
* Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
* Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
* Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
* Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
* Work with the Sales Managing Director, Sales person on complex or large sales bids to deliver the best possible chance of success.
* Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
* Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
* Recruit, hire, and train sales people as required
Experience and skills
* Experienced in selling to multiple levels within an organisation
* 5 years’ minimum experience selling Distribution and/or Supply Chain ERP solutions in a new business role to medium and large organisations
* At least 2 years sales management would be preferable
* Fluent and articulate communicator who can instil confidence and build a rapport with key decision makers an influencers
* Proven consultative sales approach
* Self-reliant, motivated, team player
* Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
* Excellent leadership skills
* Experience setting sales goals
* Educated to degree level or graduate calibre
* Must have good overall understanding of wholesale and retail distribution, and the ability to develop specific industry and product knowledge
* Full driving licence required
* Microsoft Office abilities including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
Remuneration
* Competitive Salary & OTE plus car allowance

* 37 hour week (9-5.30 Monday – Thursday, 9-5 on Friday)
* 22 days’ holiday moving to 27 days
