Hours: 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

We are working with an outstanding SEN school in Ware, catering for students aged 11-16. The school is committed to creating a learning environment that is meaningful, engaging, and full of joy.
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Supporting pupils to achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.
* Providing assessment and constructive feedback in line with school policies.
* Managing behaviour calmly, consistently, and positively.
* Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* Participating in wider school activities and events.
* Working across different school sites or outreach settings (own vehicle required for transport of pupils when necessary).

We\'re Looking For
* A qualified teacher with a recognised teaching certification.
* GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
* Strong communication, classroom management, and ICT skills.
* A calm, patient, and compassionate approach.
* A strong commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding.

* Applicants must be willing to undergo:
* An Enhanced DBS check (Update Service registration preferred – support can be provided).
* Two recent professional references (within the last 24 months).
* An Overseas Police Check (if applicable - for those who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the past 5 years).
* Please note: Only applicants with permanent UK residency will be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
