The Role
Are you a visionary leader who thrives on solving complex problems and steering digital innovation in the audit domain? Our Digital Auditor & Analytics team is seeking a Senior Manager with a unique blend of accounting & FSA skills, deep proficiency in data terminology, and a profound understanding of the potential unlocked through advanced data techniques. This role is pivotal in identifying and capitalising on opportunities to refine and elevate audit methodologies through this expertise.
While experience with analytics tools is not mandatory, a strong foundation in technology is required. This position is ideally suited for individuals with exceptional data literacy and advanced Excel capabilities. As a Senior Manager, you will spearhead data analytics on audit engagements, navigating through the complexities of diverse operational, finance, and ERP systems.
Joining KPMG’s Clara Analytics and Technology team, you will lead and champion data analytics initiatives, providing strategic direction to engagement teams across the CLR, FS & KPE portfolio.

Responsibilities
1. Lead the strategic deployment of technology and D&A across a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring alignment with firm objectives.
2. Analyse outputs to derive insights and identify areas for deeper testing, elevating D&A’s role in audits.
3. Review D&A outputs collaboratively with technical teams to resolve discrepancies before dissemination.
4. Present complex analyses to audit teams using visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Celonis) to facilitate understanding.
5. Lead the technology agenda on audit tenders and ignition events.
6. Compile insights, results, and findings into reports and presentations for senior management and audit committees.
7. Guide audit teams on data extraction and establish efficient data-sharing processes.
8. Ensure D&A documentation compliance and maintain audit file standards.
9. Manage budgets, monitor engagement finances, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
Experience
* Proven leadership in financial statement audits and strategic application of D&A in audits.
* Strong skills in navigating complex data, with analytical curiosity and data’s role in assurance.
* Ability to identify root causes, provide impactful recommendations, and advise stakeholders.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical engagement.
Qualifications
ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or international equivalent, with ongoing professional development commitment.
