For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Azure Data Technical Specialist for a long contract based in Gateshead, England, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
* Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows for data movement across multiple systems.
* Utilize Azure Databricks for data engineering, transformation, and analytics.
* Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
* Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation and data processing.
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and implement data requirements.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance.
* Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
* Stay current with Azure data platform innovations and best practices.
Required Skills
* Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
* Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
* Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
* Proficiency in Python programming.
* Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Microsoft Azure Data certifications.
