Every member of the team is encouraged to 'go the extra mile', by delivering more, adding value, and exceeding the expectations of our clients. £55-£65K circa base salary per annum based on geographical base within UK, skills, knowledge, experience. 10% commission on personal net billing as an uncapped monthly bonus scheme, this presents an average on target reward package of £72-85K. To generate fee paying income by undertaking a variety of professional valuation and survey work. Working to an agreed annual target and daily average fees. To undertake a range of valuation and survey work which may include RICS Home Surveys Level 2 and Level 3, Red Book Valuations, Bespoke Building Surveys, Help to Buy and Probate, Matrimonial Valuations for panel and private clients as well as members of the public. This role provides an opportunity for the Surveyor to develop their skills, knowledge, and experience in all areas of valuation and survey work through mentors and regional line managers. Specialist valuation and survey work will also be required based on a variety of client work through lenders and housing associations. To use technological solutions in delivering valuation and survey work including eTech, Quest, GoReport, and Valos. To commit to personal branding, and business development activities in your local area across a 25-40-mile radius of your home address. To develop and maintain professional contacts throughout local geographical areas, developing and building business levels through business networking. To work with centralised Operations Hubs. These teams provide customer and client care, maintaining the surveyor’s diary appointments and providing surveyor administration support. To meet benchmarked KPIs in delivering to an agreed service turnaround and meeting audit requirements. To connect with other Watsons residential and commercial surveyors and registered valuers. To work alongside Watsons Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities, Marketing and Business Development teams in meeting business objectives. To work within a regional team, attending local breakfast meeting and video call meetings to stay connected and supported with colleagues. To provide excellent customer service to both private customers and corporate clients ensuring that all deadlines are achieved. To input into the development of the departments business and marketing strategy within their geographical location. To maintain continuing professional development, supported by Watson resources, and to keep professionally up-to-date and maintain adequate records. To comply with the RICS Rules of Conduct and Bylaws and where relevant to apply to all areas of work the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Standards, RICS Guidance Notes and RICS Codes of Practice. The jobholder will need to be a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Registered Valuer. They will need to have worked in the area they reside to show to panels and customers that they have knowledge and experience in their geographical area, across a 40-mile radius from their homebase. The jobholder will need to be able to work under their own initiative and be self-motivated to deliver results, generate new business and to be able to meet challenging targets. Good interpersonal skills and time management skills are therefore essential. A Driving Licence is essential. To meet lender requirements, the surveyor must be MRICS or FRICS with at least two years post qualification experience.
