What You Will Do:
- Lead and drive the integration of new technologies into vehicle architectures, ensuring compatibility with strategic goals and functional targets.
- Act as the technical arbitrator, delivering engineering solutions for the whole vehicle and aligning with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Vehicle Attribute Robustness team to ensure embedded design quality, service, and manufacturing requirements.
- Oversee data progression, including CAD, DV, AIMS, Build, Test, and Releasing, while maintaining alignment with team leads.
- Resolve cross-group obstacles, ensuring timely escalation of technical blockers to leadership teams.
- Support Agile spike activities and studies to tackle complex engineering challenges.
What You Will Bring:
- Extensive automotive technical knowledge and experience in analysing and resolving complex engineering interactions.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and solve challenges using structured approaches such as 8D or Six Sigma.
- Strong project management skills, delivering against technical programme objectives.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
