The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded food manufacturer, is seeking a talented NPD Manager to lead the development of new and exciting products. In this role, you’ll manage the full development cycle, working cross-functionally and directly with major UK retailers to bring high-quality, commercially successful products to market.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full NPD process from concept through to successful launch.
* Lead innovation projects in collaboration with major UK retail customers.
* Identify and respond to food trends and customer insights to create commercially viable products.
* Work closely with internal teams, including technical, production, and commercial, to ensure project delivery.
* Oversee product trials, ensuring feasibility, quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
* Deliver presentations and updates to both internal stakeholders and external retail partners.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an NPD Manager within the food manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of UK retailer requirements and expectations.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills.
* Confident communicator and collaborator, able to lead cross-functional teams.
* Commercially minded with a passion for innovation and quality.
* Strong technical awareness and experience in factory environments.
