The Mid Ross Social Work Team is based in Dingwall Health Centre and currently has a full‑time vacancy for an experienced social worker to take on the role of senior practitioner.
The post is interesting and varied in nature, providing a social work service across Mid Ross.
The Team is busy but supportive and is looking for qualified individuals who can work autonomously but also effectively as part of a social work team and wider integrated team to deliver safe and effective social work practice.
Case work will be generic in nature, interesting and varied. Duties include the execution of essential statutory functions; working with individuals, families, carers and wider communities to complete person‑centred outcome‑focused assessments; dealing with and managing complex situations and risk, and working effectively in a multidisciplinary way.
We are looking for enthusiastic practitioners who have experience of working with people with a wide range of needs and who are person‑centred and outcome‑focused in their approach.
Benefits
* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
