Job Title: Junior Product Design Engineer
Location: St Albans
Salary: GBP 30,000 : GBP 32,000 per annum
We are seeking a Junior Product Design Engineer to join a dynamic and creative design team based in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1:2 years of experience in a product design or project coordination role to further develop their skills in a supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
: Create and develop detailed product designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
: Assist in concept development, prototyping, and design validation.
: Prepare technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
: Collaborate with project managers and production teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and deadlines.
: Support ongoing projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
: Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for design presentations and visual documentation.
Requirements
: Degree or equivalent qualification in Product Design, Mechanical Design, or Industrial Design.
: 1:2 years of experience in a product design or project coordination role.
: Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
: A proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
