Are you an experienced Litigation Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established law firm with a strong presence across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of high-quality matters while working closely with the Head of Commercial Litigation on complex and high-value disputes.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a varied Commercial Litigation caseload, including:
Breach of Contract
Contentious Probate
Landlord & Tenant disputes
Attend County Court hearings and High Court interlocutory hearings
Draft pleadings, statements of case, defences, court forms and documentation
Prepare disclosure lists and witness statements
Actively build and nurture relationships within the local business community
Support wider team activities and contribute to the department’s continued growthRequirements
Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Commercial Litigation
Proven track record managing a mixed litigation caseload independently
Strong advocacy skills and experience attending court hearings
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
Confident networker with an ability to develop client relationships
