The company is known for its fast-paced environment, teamwork and operational excellence. Shift Patterns: 3 on 3 off - 12 hour shifts. Working hours: Day shift - 7am to 7pm. Night shift - 7pm to 7am. Pay Rates £12.70 per hour basic rate £15.12 per hour (from 22:00 to 06:00) As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have: Experience working within a warehouse/distribution environment would beneficial but not essential as full-training will be given Strong communication skills with the ability to organise, prioritise, and manage workloads effectively. Proactive problem-solving and teamwork, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Role of a Warehouse Operative: Load and Unload trailers, check deliveries, store stock correctly, and prepare goods for dispatch. Pick products accurately and follow daily instructions to help the team run smoothly. Operate warehouse equipment like OPUs and LLOPs safely once trained, with all checks completed. Handle items safely during pedestrian and secure picking, including some lifting and physical work. Follow all health and safety guidelines to keep yourself and others safe. Keep stock organised, assist with stock counts, and report any damaged or missing items. Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse to make it a safe and efficient place to work. Report any hazards, equipment issues, or defects promptly to supervisors. Work across different areas of the warehouse and collaborate with the team to get things done.
