As we continue to expand internationally, we’re seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Head of Legal to join our senior leadership team at our Richmond headquarters. This is a pivotal role for a proactive legal professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working closely with business leaders to drive growth while safeguarding compliance, governance, and integrity across the organisation.
Position Overview
The Head of Legal will take full ownership of the company’s legal function — overseeing contracts, regulatory compliance, commercial risk management, and corporate governance. You’ll work closely with the board and senior leadership team to provide strategic counsel and ensure all company activities operate within the highest legal and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all legal and compliance matters across the business.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and NDAs.
* Advise the board and leadership team on legal, regulatory, and risk-related issues.
* Ensure the company’s policies, procedures, and practices are compliant with UK law, financial regulations, and data protection standards (including GDPR).
* Support international expansion by ensuring compliance with local laws and cross-border regulations.
* Manage relationships with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies.
* Oversee dispute resolution, employment law matters, and corporate governance.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on legal best practices and compliance.
* Contribute to the strategic direction of the company through sound, business-minded legal advice.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 5–7 years’ PQE.
* Proven experience in corporate, commercial, or financial services law.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
* Previous experience working in an investment, finance, or high-growth environment preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders.
* Strategic mindset with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
* High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
