Job Title: Substance Misuse Nurse
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30- £35 p/h
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Job Summary:
– Provide care for patients who are dealing with substance misuse issues.
– Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, and related staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
– Facilitate patient participation in therapeutic activities.
– Provide education and counselling to patients undergoing substance misuse treatment.
– Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
– Ensure that all medical protocols and procedures are followed according to local, state, and national health regulations.
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
– Work closely with families, providing support and education about substance misuse disorders.
– Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in the field of substance misuse nursing.
Applicant Requirements:
* Qualifications: Registered with the NMC as a nurse
* Experience: 2 + years experience as a Substance Misuse Nurse
* Compliance: up-to-date DBS and references
* Hours: Full time
