Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Liverpool, Bootle Litherland, Crosby, Southport.
Job Type: Self-employed / Part-Time
Salary: £13 an hour/session
Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Sports Coach to lead and develop our youth and community sports programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in athletics, a commitment to youth development, and the ability to inspire individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and deliver engaging sports coaching sessions in accordance with program objectives
Provide mentorship and guidance to young athletes, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
Collaborate with other coaches and program coordinators to support events, competitions, and community outreach
Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Relevant coaching certification (e.g., National Governing Body Level 1/2 or equivalent)
Previous experience coaching in a school, club, or community setting
Excellent communication and leadership skills
First Aid certification and background check (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Desirable:
Specialisations in a particular sport (e.g., football, basketball, netball ect.)
Experience working with diverse populations or individuals with additional needs
