Driver Hire Darlington are currently recruiting an experienced Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Operator to work on a long-term supply basis with a well-established client within the aggregates industry in Darlington.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hard-working FLT Operator looking for stable, ongoing work.
The Role:
* Operating a fork lift truck safely and efficiently
* Moving, loading and unloading aggregates and related materials
* Assisting with yard operations as required
* Carrying out daily checks on the FLT and reporting defects
* Working in line with health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in date)
* Previous experience operating an FLT, ideally within an aggregates, quarry, construction or industrial environment
* A strong awareness of health & safety
* Good timekeeping and reliability
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
