Our client based in Erith is looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver.
HGV Class 2 Driver – average of 14 drops per day, collection on return route
Rota: Saturdays, paid at 1.5 – one weekend in 4
Holiday: 20 days + BH
Routes are normally DA8 to SE1 areas, mainly pallet work – occasional routes to NW and SW London
Must be able to use tail lift – able to use electric pump truck
Driver Principal Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring that the vehicle is presentable at all times and the daily checks are completed.
* Maintaining a reasonable level of fuel and fluids in the vehicle at all times.
* Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed on a daily basis.
* Liaising with customers on their premises as necessary.
* Debrief the team on a daily basis covering customer requests, delivery performance and customer feedback.
* Work as a key part of the team
* Contributing to the maintenance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
* Promoting good housekeeping for an efficient working environment
