About the role As one of the largest faculties within the university, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing includes four dynamic schools and two cutting-edge research institutes, this role is integral to our ambitious plans for substantial growth. As Faculty Operations Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day Faculty administrative and operations function, supporting the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing to achieve its strategic goals. You will positively contribute to the institutional reputation through role modelling a customer-focused, agile and professional administrative service to benefit students, staff and stakeholders, both internal and external. You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient operational support and committee administration alongside the implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, administrative systems and communications. You will contribute to the development of short-term plans for implementation within your work areas working collaboratively across university faculties and services. What you can bring Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. A proactive, solution‑focused approach to supporting faculty operations. Excellent communication skills, able to adapt your style for different audiences. Confident IT skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and MS Teams. Experience providing high‑quality administrative support, including committee servicing and minute taking. Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work. Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external partners. Commitment to confidentiality, GDPR compliance and good information governance.
