To help us make this a success, we are looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Senior Sales Advisor to join our team.
The Role
As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in the success of our Leicester showroom. You’ll advise customers, guide them through our product range, and ensure they feel confident in their choice. Alongside your personal sales targets, you will act as a role model and mentor for junior and medior sales teammembers, supporting the Sales Team Leader in driving performance and delivering an outstanding customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome customers to the showroom and provide expert advice on our glass sliding walls and garden canopies.
* Understand customer needs and create tailored solutions that meet their expectations.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring a smooth sales process from enquiry to closing the sale.
* Contribute to achieving team and individual sales targets.
* Support the Sales Team Leader by coaching and assisting junior and medior advisors.
* Operate at the level of the bigger picture: monitor and steer towards targets, KPIs, and long‑term goals.
* Resolve complex or escalated issues, proactively and effectively address bottlenecks.
* Initiate and lead structural process improvements at the departmental or sometimes organizational level.
* Oversee recruitment, conduct job interviews, and guide the onboarding of new staff.
* Demonstrate leadership: coach mid‑level employees, facilitate their development, and take responsibility for team dynamics.
* Always act with a goal‑oriented approach towards KPIs and translate strategic objectives into operational improvement actions.
About You
* Several years of proven sales experience, ideally in a retail or showroom environment (5 to 10 years experience).
* Strong commercial drive with a record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
* A proactive and customer‑oriented mindset.
* Comfortable mentoring and supporting colleagues.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
* Flexible to work weekends in line with showroom opening hours.
