Hours: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm

Our client is a UK’s leading supplier of chocolate, ingredients, and packaging, working with chocolatiers, bakeries and dessert specialists.
In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of smaller business accounts, helping them grow through excellent service, upselling, and cross-selling.
You’ll also focus on winning new business – identifying prospects, building relationships, and converting them into long-term customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone with sales experience who enjoys relationship building, spotting opportunities, and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and nurture a portfolio of small business accounts, ensuring regular contact and strong long-term relationships.
* Drive growth through upselling, cross-selling, and tailored product recommendations.
* Identify and engage new business prospects within your target market.
* Build a pipeline of leads and convert them into active customers through calls, outreach, and occasional visits.
* Attend industry events to network and generate contacts.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
* Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, providing reports on activity and performance.
* Sales Growth: 10% year-on-year volume growth across your portfolio.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
* Convert a defined number of prospects each month.
* Ensure every account is contacted at least once per quarter.
* Sales Activity: 30+ proactive customer interactions per week.
About You:
* Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally Business to business.
* Strong communication skills with a consultative, customer-focused approach.
* Confident in outbound sales techniques and comfortable making prospecting calls.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities to add value.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar).
