Electrical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join us as an Electrical Engineer within the Naval Defense organization based in Peterborough, ON.
This is a high-profile role that will give you direct exposure to a diverse portfolio of Naval Handling Equipment programs. The Electrical/Control System Engineer shall specify, design and validate complex sub-systems, including high-level requirements for the software and / or hardware system components and liaise with other disciplines to understand functional performance capabilities of components of the system to facilitate effective electrical design.
Qualifications:
1. A recognized electrical engineering degree and license with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) as a P. Eng.
2. Proficiency in English with a high level of verbal and written communication skills
3. Experience with industrial control systems (PLC, HMI) would be advantageous
4. Must be Canadian Citizen or permanent resident of Canada for greater than 5 years
