Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NP12 area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Role Overview:
Provide targeted intervention support to pupils in KS1 and KS2
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans
Support children with literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation
Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet individual needs
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
✅ Requirements:
Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
