Multiskilled Technician - Renewable Power Generation Salary: £40,000 – £45,765 per annum (DOE) benefits Location: Lochgelly, Fife Hours: Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week My client is a leading organisation within the UK renewable energy sector, operating a high-performance biomass facility. They are now seeking a skilled Multiskilled Technician to support routine and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring the plant’s reliability, availability, and operational output. Key Responsibilities * Adhere to safe working practices and procedures in line with the SHE Management System. * Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance activities following approved processes and procedures. * Provide out-of-hours support where required to maximise plant availability and performance. * Diagnose plant faults and develop effective engineering solutions. * Prepare and present accurate technical reports. * Maintain up-to-date maintenance and activity records. * Conduct ongoing plant condition monitoring tasks. * Support maintenance planning to ensure sufficient resources and skill are available. * Supervise contractors and other personnel as directed by the Maintenance Coordinator. * Provide cover for the Maintenance Coordinator when required. * Maintain full compliance with SHE standards at all times. About You * Competent user of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). * Strong mechanical and electrical plant knowledge. * Excellent problem-solving ability and understanding of site safety rules. * Ideally time-served with experience in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial environments. * Strong communication and IT skills.
