Job Title: Asbestos Bulk Analyst
Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £33k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy. They have a growing presence in the South East of England, and require a P401 qualified Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join their team. Applicants must have a successful track record of analysing bulk asbestos samples and ensuring deadlines are met or exceeded. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P401 qualification
- Existing experience working as an Asbestos Bulk / Lab Analyst, within a UKAS accredited laboratory
- Able to work in accordance with HSG and UKAS guidelines
- Strong organisational skills
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Hardworking and professional
The Role:
- Completing analysis on ACM samples, using PLM and stereo microscopy methods
- Safely storing and logging samples
- Confirming presence and type of asbestos present in samples
- Updating internal records with results
- Issuing certificates directly to clients
- Working to agreed deadlines and targets
- Overseeing the maintenance of lab equipment
- Participating in quality assurance checks
