The Opportunity
We are looking for a Logistics Safety and Compliance Manager to lead the Zero Harm agenda across our logistics operations. This position offers the chance to shape safety standards, influence haulier performance, and make a tangible impact on people, processes, and the business.
Youll work closely with operational teams, hauliers, and regulatory bodies, driving continuous improvement and setting the benchmark for logistics safety in the construction materials industry. If youre ready to champion safety and compliance at scale, this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and implement logistics safety strategies aligned with UK regulations and Holcim global standards, including leading incident investigations and training programmes.
Monitor and report on compliance, audit logistics operations, and manage relationships with regulatory bodies such as DVSA and HSE.
Champion visible safety leadership across logistics operations, embedding a culture of proactive risk management.
Support haulier development through safety coaching, capability building, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Who you are
Youll have a strong understanding of UK transport legislation, Operator Licence requirements, and safety management systems.
You take pride in driving measurable safety improvements and can lead serious incident investigations with confidence.
Youre skilled at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including operational teams, hauliers, and regulators.
Youll have experience in logistics, transport, or heavy industry, with NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualifications.
