Full job description Reports to: Head Chef Work Base: NN6 As part of our busy kitchen, you will produce meals and services within the required deadlines and to the companys set standards and customers dietary requirements. Working within the catering operating budget using company nominated suppliers. Additional responsibilities include kitchen cleanliness, stock ordering and rotation in the Head Chefs absence. What we need from you: To help produce, monitor, and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas and during all stages of production and supply. To participate in the HACCP procedure according to the companys Food Safety Management document. To maintain the correct use of the Food Safety Policy including cleaning rota and closing procedures. To ensure quality control measures and hygiene systems are always achieved. Prepare and cook high quality food within budget. Present food attractively, in accordance with the menu requirements. Produce special meals to meet dietary requirements. Other : Able to work flexible work patterns, including bank and public holidays, weekends, and evening shifts as required according to a rota. Whilst holding a Christian faith is not a pre-requisite, an understanding of and support for the Christian ethos and aims of the organisation and a willingness to work in that environment is an essential requirement for the role. Knowledge of the Christian and/or not for profit/charity/education conference market is beneficial. Working hours will be a 37.5hour week 5 shifts over a 7-day period. AMRT1_UKCT
