Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure robust reporting through a period of rapid business expansion.
2. Provide hands-on leadership to the finance function, ideally with experience managing and developing a team within a fast-paced environment.
3. Act as finance lead for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics, supporting business integration, data migration, and process optimisation.
4. Partner with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, streamline procedures, and enhance financial controls.
5. Support post-acquisition integration, ensuring seamless financial reporting and compliance.
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
7. Demonstrable experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role within an acquisitive or transformation-focused business.
8. Proven capabilities managing, developing, and mentoring finance teams.
9. Hands-on experience with ERP/system implementation, previous use of Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable.
10. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
11. Available to start on short notice for an interim assignment.
