You will work closely with senior lawyers and a high-performing group of Associates across multiple offices. You'll be involved in a diverse mix of contentious IP work, spanning trade marks, passing off, copyright, design rights and patents. This position is ideal for someone commercially minded, confident managing matters and keen to grow both legally and professionally in a supportive team.Key ResponsibilitiesHandling and advising on a broad range of contentious IP matters, including:Trade mark and passing off disputesCopyright issuesDesign right mattersPatent-related disputesManaging your own caseload and contributing to the team's wider workflowOffering guidance and support to more junior colleaguesWorking positively and collaboratively within a motivated and inclusive teamTaking part in BD and networking activities to strengthen the team's visibilityBuilding relationships with clients operating in dynamic, brand-focused sectorsRequirementsAt least 5 years' dedicated experience in Intellectual Property within a client-led environmentStrong technical grounding in IP law across key contentious areasCommercial awareness with the ability to deliver concise, practical solutionsExcellent drafting and communication abilitiesSolid academic background, ideally with a specialist IP qualification or equivalent experienceProactive interest in business development and marketingA supportive, team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring junior team membersA developing client network is beneficial but not necessary Click on the link to apply or contact Antony Setford at G2 Legal for more information.
