About the role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving commercial excellence and shaping world-class events? RX is on the lookout for an accomplished Portfolio Director with deep Luxury travel experience to spearhead the growth of a high-impact cluster of exhibitions and events. This is a key leadership role for a commercially driven professional who thrives on delivering exceptional customer value and leading high-performing teams to ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the long-term vision, strategy, and innovation roadmap for the ILTM portfolio of events
2. Inspire and support high-performing, cross-functional teams across event design, sales, marketing, content, and operations.
3. Drive commercial growth and P&L across all revenue streams, including exhibitions, sponsorships, digital products and ticket sales.
4. Engage extensively with key stakeholders including our customers and the broader luxury travel industry
5. Use data and customer insights to shape event formats, content, and engagement strategies.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and senior leaders to align goals and maximise performance.
7. Ensure delivery of high-quality, inclusive, and engaging in-person and digital event experiences.
8. Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across all event touchpoints.
9. Lead change initiatives to adapt to evolving customer and market needs.
Requirements
10. Significant experience in Luxury travel or similar commercial leadership roles.
11. Proven track record of driving growth and innovation in complex portfolios.
12. Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
13. Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and a data-informed approach.
14. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
