Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
* Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement structured sales strategies supporting performance, reproducible across the sales team as the business expands.
* Sales management: Deliver on sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
* Product conception and delivery: Represent clients in discussions to enhance product performance.
* Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
* Client management: Oversee key accounts, ensure objectives are met, and manage rebook meetings.
* Commercial analysis: Analyze marketplaces, categorize companies, and research leads.
* Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop sales strategies leveraging team intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value solution sales experience.
* Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets, perceived as a high performer.
* Product sales experience: Live events, digital products, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
* Sales knowledge: Understanding of various selling techniques, training, and development experience is a plus.
* Strategy: Experience in planning, delivering sales plans, and contributing to business strategy.
