Job Responsibilities
1. Assist in the management and organisation of the dispensary.
2. Dispense medication to patients, including accepting, reading, checking and dispensing prescriptions.
3. Manage stock, reorder and control inventory to maintain adequate supplies; check invoices, statements, expiry dates and dispose of out‑of‑date drugs in accordance with protocol.
4. Supply drugs in a monitored dose system when required.
5. Adhere to organisational policies and procedures.
6. Maintain strict confidentiality of information relating to patients, relatives, carers and staff.
7. Undergo necessary training required for the post.

Qualifications
* GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
* Qualified to NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services
* Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience

* Experience of working in a GP practice

Salary
£25,135.50 a year pro rata - pending NHS pay rise.
