Responsibilities
:
1. Negotiating the terms of legal contracts and other documentation with Investment managers, consultants, advisers, and other external parties.
2. Ensuring the optimal legal and tax structures are identified and implemented for all investment vehicles.
3. Providing legal input into investment decisions that is timely, effective, and fit for purpose and ensuring timely implementation of new mandates.
4. Overseeing all legal aspects of the Annual Investment Plan delivery, including provision of required KYC documentation.
5. Effectively managing the relationships with external legal advisers, extracting added value from the relationships, and keeping the panel of advisers under review as appropriate.
6. Ensuring the consistency of terms across managers within a specific asset class, keymercial terms (in-house precedence), tax & legal structuring
7. Monitoring iing legislation and regulations, identifying any impact on the business and overseeing effectivepliance.
Job Requirements:
8. Ideally 8-10 years PQE working within a similar Investment Management business.
9. Strong understanding of Pension Funds, preferable.
10. Legally qualified with a good understanding of applicable Regulations.
11. Excellentmunication skills, both written and oral.
