We are pleased to be advertising for the key position of Performance Manager to support our Operations team. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, meticulous, highly organised, and passionate about analysing complex statistical data to make a difference.
The successful candidate will have the ability to turn “big data” into meaningful information to assist with making recommendations across all levels of the business, applying integrity across all data processing and outputs.
If you have an eye for detail, can identify trends and patterns, and possess excellent IT skills, particularly in intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, and knowledge of Power BI, you will maximize your potential at Tram Operations as our Performance Manager.
The job holder should be confident, articulate, and a competent communicator (verbal and written). A wide range of interpersonal skills are required to ensure effective internal and external working relationships within TOL and with our client, London Trams.
You will work closely with the frontline Operational team; the data you produce will be used to fault find, improve performance, enhance safety, and optimise maintenance.
You will act as the business's “Critical Friend” and should be comfortable having difficult conversations with peers or senior managers. You will be passionate about identifying efficiencies, developing solutions, improving working methods, and managing performance improvement plans.
This is a non-safety-critical role, but the post holder must adhere to the company's policies regarding Alcohol and Drugs.
Requirements for the Role:
* Line management experience is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to analyse and translate numeric data into clear, concise written reports.
