Vacancy: Year 2 Teacher, maternity cover
Location: South Shore, Blackpool (FY1)
Pay: £120 -£160 per day
Hours: Monday- Friday
A client school in South Shore are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified or early careers teacher work in Year 2 from November covering a maternity leave. The school is OFSTED rated ‘good’ so the candidate must continue to strive for success in pupil progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated and cohesive curriculum that aligns with national standards.
Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on KS1.
Passionate about fostering a love for learning in young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
